Last day of what could have been done

So now the big boss is there but what does he bring? Probably nothing.
But, It was long since I left "the chock stage" and I´m already past the acceptance too. So, I see the light. Or something like light("i eftertankens kranka blekhet"). Those who didn´t want things to change into the better were very clearly stronger than us who wanted to see that science meant something and that what we know has some consequences to the world's future development. But now we have seen the face of the resistance and we can mobilize from what we know. Yes, the time is beaten, we will not be able to resolve the disaster we´re created and are in but we can still reduce the impact of it. Yes we can! So, Forward!´

Last attempt

Now it's time to show that we citizens -children, fathers & mothers, workers & pensioners, students and everyone else to take action. I therfore forward the petition send out by Gordon Brown to show that WE can make diffrence.

Take care! /Johan

Dear friends,

Copenhagen's last-ditch summit to stop catastrophic global warming is failing; world leaders are appealing for massive public pressure to save it. Sign the giant petition below - it may be the largest in history:

With just 2 days left, the historic Copenhagen climate summit is failing.

World leaders have begun the final hours of direct negotiations. The UK Prime Minister has directly appealed to Avaaz to build the tidal wave of public pressure needed to reach a deal that stops catastrophic global warming of 2 degrees.

Click below to sign the petition for a real deal -- the campaign already has a staggering 11 million supporters -- over the next 48 hours let's make it the largest petition in history! The name of every signer is being read out right now in the summit hall -- sign on at the link below and forward this email to everyone!

http://www.avaaz.org/en/save_copenhagen

We are making history in Copenhagen. A group of young people have sat down in the middle of the summit and begun reading the names of every person who signs the petition for a real deal. Another group is doing the same 'petition reading sit-in' in the Canadian Prime Minister's office, and rumours are that more such actions will happen tomorrow. On an emergency conference call with 3000 Avaaz members today, UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown said:

"What you're doing through the internet around the world is absolutely crucial to setting the agenda. In the next 48 hours, don't underestimate your effect on the leaders here in Copenhagen"

Earlier, millions watched the Avaaz vigil inside the summit on TV, where Archbishop Desmond Tutu told hundreds of delegates and assembled children:
“We marched in Berlin, and the wall fell.
"We marched for South Africa, and apartheid fell.
"We marched at Copenhagen -- and we WILL get a Real Deal.”
Copenhagen is seeking the biggest mandate in history to stop the greatest threat humanity has ever faced. History will be made in the next 48 hours. How will our children remember this moment? Let's tell them we did all we could.

With hope and determination,
Ricken, Alice, Ben, Paul, Luis, Iain, Veronique, Graziela, Pascal, Paula, Benjamin, Raj, Raluca, Taren, David, Josh and the whole Avaaz team.

Poland, Latvia and East European countries

This is really a spectacular conference. Here is participants from the entire world, discussion the energy, climate and the future around these.
There are people sitting beside of me sending e-mailing back to their countries and here is media people and delegates everywhere. At the entrance there are a lot of exhibitions from as an example IAEA Nuclear association.

Implementation of Poland’s climate policy.
The first seminar I went into was the Polish with ministers and government people. They talked about reduction they have been done since they went into the west economical system 1989. The industry has also been privatized during same period. They were very proud about this.
Some energy production data from 2009:
553 MW from Windfarms
994 MW from Hydropower

Approx 90 % of the power are coming from coal power plants. Poland will think about to use CCS method for storage and cleaning. Modern solutions for using coal must be developed. They will invest in low carbon energy systems.

There is very less production of biogas in the country and no solar energy for the moment. Biogas plant with methane gas from agriculture could be something for the future. The government will push the industries and public sector to do more energy savings projects.
The first nuclear station in Poland will be completed 2020. They will agree in the target 20 % reduction of CO2 to 2020.

Early adaption actions
The second seminar I went into was about Red Cross and Red crescent association and what they are doing in Kenya , Zambia , Malawi and Columbia. Some disasters depending on the climate changes has already occurred.

Options for flexibility under quantified GHG ( Green House Gas) reduction target in post 2012
The third seminar I went into was about Latvia and former East European countries such as Albania, Serbia, Monte Negro, FYR of Macedonia.
There is huge opportunity to upgrade the industry in these countries. In Latvia they have launched and implemented a GIS system. Renewable energy is very important for Latvia.
It looks like that Latvia will take lead.

Business Europe Seminar
The fourth seminar I went into was about business in Europe forclimate change. The seminar was very crowded.
Maud Olofsson Energy minister of Sweden talked about the golden opportunity to make changes and differences. Business partners and government will sit around the same table, as they finally are doing in this seminar. Eco efficient economy gives more wealth. Environmentally products must be developed. All heat losses which are around 60 % of total production must be minimized. All parties in this COP 15 must be winners.

Ulla Hamilton major of Stockholm was talking about reduction of environmental impact, waste management and new power plants. The city part Hammarby Sjöstrand is a really good reference for Stockholm. ABB and Fortum are good suppliers who are developing smart grids.

Hans Straberg CEO of Electrolux was talking about that they have decreased the power consumption with 70 % for a refrigerator since 15 years back. Price for CO2 emissions must be an agreement all over the world. Clear rules globally must be implemented.

Chaos in Copenhagen!

The tension is growing as the days of the meeting ticks off. The media is primarily dominated of what doesn´t work, what´s NOT received. A little bit eh... "tiring" but it is the way media work. Dramatization is more important than the dialogue.

I'm trying to see past the "black and white" but dazzled by the fact that I am not one of the 90 lucky persons who had the luck to maintain my accreditation Thursday to Saturday. Instead I´m one of the 9 910 people, not from the political side and therefore I may not enter the Bella Center.

It´s of course, when compared to stalled negotiations, a "worldly problem". But the Swedish Television, in which I was (I am?!) supposed to comment on the meeting on Thursday and Friday morning do not like the consequence. So yes, we'll see how it all will work out. Perhaps part of the morningshow will be broadcasted OUTSIDE Bella Center?! Thursday morning, around eight, we know.

Johan! Thanks for the reporting. And for not giving up on the world (and ÅF) since we badly need you!

A day at COP15

Today will be a day to remember. I was heading for Copenhagen 06.30 with my friend and we were at Bella Center already 07.15, and thought that I will be part of COP15 in the early hour. How I was mistaking. The queue that I was standing in was totally still and didn’t move an inch. After two hours the people in the queues begun to get really inpatient and one understood that it begun to become a cries situation. Because, the delegates and speakers for the day couldn’t either enter the Bella Center. After 3,5 hours in the chilly Copenhagen I received my pass and could join with the other delegates.

The consequence of the chaotic situation outside is that he organizers will restrict the possibilities for all NGO members to take part f the COP15 meeting. From Thursday “only” 1000 NGO:s will be able to take part in the meeting and on Friday only 90 people from NGO:s will be allowed to comment the results from the negations.

But even if it’s chaotic one sense that a huge activity are talking pace inside all the closed room but also in the open sessions there were a very high activity. All meetings with the one that are responsible for the negations and the press people together with the NGO:s were cancelled because of the very intense discussions. The temperature raised even more on the afternoon when Al Gore joined the COP15. One really understands that he is or can be a very important player because he is still treated by media as a climate superstar. So even if he not have any legitimate input to influence the COP15 process it seems that he still could have some impact on the outcome of this meeting of the decade.

My evening ended with a session or side event that Business Europe arranged. We could hear a very positive vice Prime Minister Maud Olofsson how Sweden have achieved both a growth in BNP but in the same reduced the carbondioxide emissions. She talked a lot of Eco effiency economy which I think will be a buzz word in the environmental business sector. It was also very interesting to listen to European Commission Deputy Director-General of DG Environment Jos Delbeke. A lot of what he said was very technical but very important if one should understand why we were in Bella Center this evening.

Even if this has been a very cold and long day for me it has also been a day with a lot of impressions what I can do as an environmentalist, technical consultant or a dad, -strive for a green and prosperous planet.
Over and out/ Johan

Johan entered HOPENHAGEN

Today I was in HOPENHAGEN for the first time, now with my family. We entered BRIGHT GREEN after having travelled 2,5 h with public transportations, a journey that would take approximately 1 h with car. This is something that is a serious obstacle that must be solved in the future if we should succeed to change ordinary people transport behaviour.

The BRIGHT GREEN exhibition was an arena mainly for businessmen and -women in dark suites. My gut feeling is that clean-tech and smart energy solution has become serious big business. The people in this arena were there foremost to earn for a good living. Is this a prerequisite to achieve the environmental goals that the society should agree on the following week to come –that the commercial sector goes hand in hand with the life necessary environmental solutions? Yes maybe, but I think we never should forget what the core is, and that is to create a safe and fruitful future, and that should be done without harming other interests.

Tomorrow I will join the COP15 and I am looking forward to this maybe most important meeting in my generation.

Over and out/ Johan

There are still a lot of activities at the Bright Green. During the day, we have been showing a film from the Treespa project as a part of the presentation of ÅF activities. There has also been a great interest ÅF activities regarding development of sustainable cities (and this time with a focus on China). Just in time, Johan Holmqvist, part of such a project in China, showed up to tell more about this exciting project.

ÅF activities today...

.... are focused on the Bright Green Expo since there are no official negociations at the Bella Center. In the stand at the Bright Green Expo however, there are a lot of activities going on; Yesterday Björn was presenting Hammarby Sjöstad as an example of a SymbioCity and today Monica made a presentation of the important Treespa project that she (as well as other colleagues) has been working with. The people visiting the ÅF’s and the SymbioCity stand are both companies and persons just interesting in sustainability. As far as we know, no royal highnesses will show up today, but now, at 13:00, the Finnish Enviromental Minister is coming to the SymbioCity stand. We also now hear the sweet sounds of the "Luciatåg"

ÅF shaking the royal hands….

Thank you Annika for covering the panel discussions when we miss out on the action at Bella Centre, but as you know we opened up the activity here at Forum and Bright Green today. Had an early start today with a walk around the grounds at the hotel, not much to se except open land, some building sites, a windmill and Bella Centre from far away, but the weather is great, cold and you might say crisp. There was also a minor energy savings campaign at the hotel, executed by just turning the electricity off for an hour or so. Sure made it a bit harder to put in the contact lenses and picking the right shirt, tie and suit, but when I got out in the air, I noticed that I did OK. And I’m happy that the hotel took such active part in the COP15 activities.

At 8 am I found myself outside the Forum after just a short trip with the Metro. Outside the centre was also about 100 police men and women, so something was in action. I checked the phone and there was still no call from Björn or Alice, but they where probably still on the train and maybe tiered from the activity at the Stockholm office the night before. About 15 business cards later after a walk around the exhibition I met up with Fredrik Lindén from the Swedish Trade Council and we decided to take a short break and sit down and wait for the opening ceremony. We carefully picked the seats right in front of the stage and right behind the chairs marked with Viktoria, Frederik and Haakon. Seemed like the best spot, and why not, looked like comfortable chairs and we needed a rest. Well we did not have to wait long, just a few minutes later the room was filled with people and suddenly everybody stood up (That something you do when royal people enter the room.) We suddenly realized, our decision to pick the right chairs was not only smart, it was brilliant, sometimes being just a little bit ahead, with just a tiny bit more aggressive plan really pays off. Well as you can se on the picture we were not the ones being asked up on the stage, but never the less our neighbours were.

And one thing is sure, what we met was 3 very smart kids, they know what the game is about, and the are going to help and take action, well they said that the only thing they had planed together right now was Viktorias wedding, but they were open for suggestions. And I think that the meeting ended up with at least one concrete Lead, there is a strong demand for a energy efficient and sustainable wedding and marriage, so If you have any good ides about that now is the time to act. One more thing came up though, I think they all need good examples on what they have done , themselves in their on home (“think castle”), they kind of avoided the subject. I see that as a clear signal to "go for the kill", here is business to be made. I know we already have some contacts and things going on, but it's time to make some calls. My personal reflection is also that Viktoria grasps the questions very fast, makes fast and bright reflections and communicates in a manner that a lot of us can admire and envy. And now as a part of our marketing and bussiness network, something to be proud of. (But what is there to learned? Clean your own back yard, it makes a better impression! :-) )

So what happened then…? Well some more prominent gests also entered the stage (I listed them earlier) but we were all anxious to get down to the stand and show the royals some real sustainable solutions by ÅF and Björn Qvist had already arrived during this circus and were waiting down at the stand. Well it all went well an Björn did his job, Viktoria actually came back later with Ewa Björling to spend some more time and listen to Björn explain everything about ÅF, Sustainable solutions, Green Building Design and after a while she also got to meet Roland Mårtensson . Well as you can understand a visit like this doesn’t happen every day, and I’m sure that this was just the thought that Viktoria had when she was preparing to leave ÅF and the world of sustainable cities together with an enormous crowd of press and security guards.

Well just before she left, Viktoria stopped and turned to look at Alice and me, as we were trying to get out of the way of the media crowd, she reached out her hand and said; Tack så mycket, tack!

So Alice, we really shook some smart royal hands today!

Anders @ COP15

PS. If you have the chance, check out the new SymbioCity page and try the new game SymbioCity Scenarios, maybe you can beat Viktorias or Ewa Björlings score.

Strong words from Sweden during the Plenary Discussions;
Currently we are tree colleagues from ÅF listening to the Plenary Discussions. The issues being discussed in the AWG-KP text relates among others to
1. how to handle Carbon Capture and Storage (to be included or not and if; how to include it),
2. the Development of the Clean Development Mechanism (f.ex to facilitate rules for small scale energy efficiency (less than 20 GWh savings per year) and small scale (5 MW) renewable energy projects using renewable energy as primary technology), whether to include new nuclear taken into operation after 2008 or not),
3. the Development of Emission Trading Mechanisms
4. Banking between the commitment period
There are also a lot of discussions about wording in the LCA (the Long term Cooperation Action) text and it was the coherence among the LCA and the KP texts that Sweden’s negotiator Anders Turesson objected at: the wording in the KP text is to weak; the discussions about emission reduction commitments as it is now will not stop global worming at 2 degree Celsius (rather 3 degrees) and it is not coherent with the LCA wording. Some important countries such as Brasil, South Africa, China Canada and Sudan is now commenting on the to track approach papers…

The temperature is rising in Copenhagen

We are sitting in the Plenary Conference Room listening to negotiations of the texts of the two tracks that is currently being discussed. Yesterday, to everybody’s surprise, the chairs of the two main working groups (Ad-hoc Working Group on Long Term Cooperative Action and Ad-hoc Working Group on the Kyoto Protocol (AWG-LCA/AWG-KP), issued two draft texts to be further discussed among the Parties with the purpose to prepare texts to be further negotiated by the Environmental Ministers, (who by the way has begun arriving to Bella Center; Connie Hedegaard, the Danish Minister of Environment is the president of the Plenary meeting and the Swedish Minister of Environment Andreas Carlgren just passed us in the queue to attend the Plenary discussions). It will be exciting to see what today’s discussions will lead to….

Be prepared, the king and queen is coming to town…

Yesterday I visited Forum and the preparations for the Bright Green Expo and to be honest everything seems to be in order, even the ginger cookies for the Lucia celebration tasted great. I have high expectations and the taste of success in my mouth.

One thing is for sure, the interest is big. This I can tell you Alice, some of the speakers and visitors are even more well known than ÅF, you and me. What do you say about names like Viktoria H.R.H The Crown Princess of Sweden, Haakon H.R.H The Crown Prince of Norway and Frederik André Henrik Christian H.R.H The Crown Prince of Denmark. To be followed by other names like Prime Minister of Denmark, Lars Løkke Rasmussen, U.S. Secretary of Commerce, Gary Locke, U.S. Secretary of Energy Steven Chu and our own Swedish Minister for Trade, Ewa Björling. And they will all visit ÅF, our stand and our city of sustainability, SymbioCity. So what can I tell you, come well prepared, You might even want to bring a camera, occasions like this are rare, and all in the name of, sustainability, energy efficiency our own core business. I think the world is turning. Maybe you should talk to Björn Qvist, responsible for Green Building Design at ÅF (and my boss), that he is going to greet all the visiting guests and that there will be some nice hands to shake and some great networks to be built. And Björn, it’s just another day at work in the green building sector.

And when I’m at the subject, I visited a seminar her at COP15 held by our fellow neighbors, Denmark on the subject Building green in Denmark. There sure are some smart people here in Denmark and with high ambitions, or what do you say about making Copenhagen CO2 neutral by 2025. I think there are things to be learned from each other and it’s a never ending developing process, and that’s just what sustainability is about.

By the way, did you hear the interview with the American, Elinor Ostrom, winner of The 2009 Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel. She got the question about what the delegates here at COP15 should focus on. Her answer was; support development of new technical solutions in the field of energy efficiency. And second; influence, inform and support building owners to not only identify problems but to carry out energy efficiency measures. One smart woman! Looks like we’re going to have a Bright Green future after all.

/ Anders @ COP15

PS. Media will be here too, a new tie might be good. Or what ever you like to wear when you get your picture taken.

Who can you trust?

It is somewhat frustrating to sit 62 mil from Copenhagen and feel some stress about the information beeing served! Or rather, that the information I receive are conflicting. While DN.se on their first page lips out that 63 million for "poor" countries is signed (the expressions is interesting, clearly yes, nuanced - not at all .... but it´s or the time nor the place for ordbajseri ... or it is?) Anyway - Sweden's largest newspaper says one thing but hundreds twitters and bloggers say something else ...
So - Whats going on Anders? Who promised what to whom? Who has signed? Who has not done it? And how great is the sum so far? Curious in a cone - Alice

A few exciting quiet moments in the plenary session…

In the plenary session today the agenda is to discuss suggested amendments to the Kyoto Protocol. There is both a strong wish from almost all parties to keep the protocol alive, since it is the “only legally binding document” but still there is a demand to raise the demands on developed countries. The group of 77 (Mainly Africa) and China stressed the fact that these issues need to be discussed in the plenum to make it possible to agree on amendments. Of course anyone can see the problem in discussing this in such a large group and so did Connie Hedegaard, Minister for the UN Climate Conference in Copenhagen. First there was quiet moment in the room and then she decided. “We will have an informal meeting of all parties in the corner of the room for 10 minutes”. Strange? Smart? Well we don’t know yet, after ten minutes of waiting, they all sat down again, and the meeting was closed. No decision was taken, but discussions will go on. But hopefully ready by Saturday when the same issue will be on the agenda again.

And what is the big question, minimum of 40% carbon dioxide reduction by developed countries by 2020, and more support programs, money and alternative deadlines for less developed regions. One big issue was also further development of the REDD program, efforts to reduce emissions from deforestation and forest degradation.

And what is my reflection? There is something to learn here, do your homework, and come well prepared to meetings. Ever heard of the county Tuvalu? Now I and the rest of the world have. They came well prepared and got the world to meet in the corner to get one step closer to an agreement.

Now I’m taking off to meet Swedish Trade Council representatives at Forum and Bright Green Expo. Will just make a quick stop at the US stand, ask about when I can meet up with Obama :-) and listen in on a seminar about clean energy production and carbon capture.

I’ll be back…

Exciting day and crazy expectations...

Yesterday was a new experience, there is so much going on that I probably will change my statement that we all talk about the same question. Of course almost everything ends up in measuring carbon dioxide emissions, but a lot of the seminars summarizes studies, explains research and presents solutions. Where ever you go you meet people that more or less have devoted their life and time to study and become an expert in some field. It’s almost like a day at ÅF :-)

Most exciting to me right now is to see and hear about different ideas about how things can be solved. One example is from the EU Pavilion where Mr Markus Becker from Germany talked about Innovative transportation solutions for both developing and developed countries. The U.S. center has a spectacular stand with presentations on a 360 Sphere; if it does nothing else it at least gives the spectators a better picture of the climate change question. And I think I can say one thing Alice, even if this meeting ends up without an agreement, this is a starting point for many other projects. Organizations setting up scholarships, workgroups being put together and networks being built. Most of the NGOs (Nongovernmental organizations) already have their agenda and their goals and will keep on working after COP15.

As you heard on the news there was a copy of a suggested agreement that leaked out yesterday, it made a big buzz in the corridors, but not knowing better I guess it was just somebody that likes to come to the meeting well prepared. But you all know that basic human feeling, to be committed to something you have to be involved in the process. Even if you come to the same conclusions.

And when we talk about it Lars Løkke Rasmussen made a visit to get a feel of the conference and maybe calm down any speculations.

Have to run now, Anders @ COP15

PS. Also met some demonstrators on my way out, still very calm and friendly. Also for them an exciting day with crazy high expectations. More to come on this subject.

Visiting Stockholm

On my way to Stockholm to meet Sandvik and Alice to discuss sustainability. A lot of the actions and decisions we do in our ordinary life can make a difference. Ten thousands or even more of commuters spend time alone in a car hours each day with out reflect how their behaviour can change the opportunities for our children.

My route between Malmö and Stockholm when I travel with train release as much carbondioxide as I drive by car between Malmö-Lund (circa 20 km). This is something that is quite hard to understand how it can be a difference as much as 25 times regarding CO2 release. We must try to think that daily life decisions are important.

Even if it’s the 4000 delegates, at COP 15, try to come up with a deal how we, the world, could act together we all have a personal responsibility to make changes.

Morning reflection from a train between Lund and Stockholm

Backlash coming next?

Some weeks ago, in a meeting with AF collagues from Estonia, Lithuania and Letvia I asked how big impact the COP15 meeting had in their local media and among peoples awareness. Almost none was the anwser.

Of course the Copenhagen meeting (or Hopehagen as Anders said) is a major Swedish "thing" since we have the presidency but still, isn´t it interesting/worrying that it´s either al or nothing. ´Cause maybe our extrem focus isn´t really "healty"? And I know this is like cursing in church but - the scrutinizing (Is that the word for it? Is that the spelling ?), the way "we" turn the climate inside out may, M A Y, leave us thinking quite "demarcated" as if the climate discussions and the maybe/maybe not politic desicions in Copenhagen is the ONLY thing that matters.

I think there´s quite a risk that the backlash can be deep. No matter how cruisal the global heating is, it is still TO abstract. What do you think? Where is the wider debate about sustainability?

It moves.. it sounds.. and at times you even see dancing

Yes for sure, something is happening here in HOPEnhagen, one of the delegates said, rushing from one meeting to another. There are hundreds of meetings, agendas, thousands of delegates gathered around one big issue. No matter who you talk to they all have their own point of view, and so do I. We all have our own background and our own goals and, just a bit, different opinions on how to get there. But we all have HOPE. Welcome to HOPEnhagen!

And just like you said Alice, this many people in one place makes a big crowd. It was a little more complicated to get in here than the regular security check at the airport, even harder than at Gardermoen in Oslo, where I guess Obama will pass through before he comes here. Well to make a long story shorter, after waiting in line for a little more than an hour I was registered, got my photo taken and received my UNFCCC security badge, so now I can come and go as I like.

After a few more minutes getting rid of my jacket, I headed for the Print Centre to get the Daily Program "Part One" and then on to the information desk to grab a map. After a quick look in the program I rushed on to the first meeting. To be honest, I should have taken a few minutes, maybe with one of these ecological cafe lattés with a small dark Fairtrade chocolate on the side, but you know me, I’m here for the meetings so meetings comes first. I will be done here by about 21.00 tonight and have an early start tomorrow so I will come back with more reflections later in the week.

Oh, I almost forgot, even though this is an important and serious meeting, you do see people singing and dancing in the corridors. The place is full of energy, human environmental friendly energy!

/ Anders @ COP15

PS. I will grab that café latte later tonight when I walk home to my hotel.

Breakfast with Margot, the swenglish version!

Had planned to have breakfast with Margot Wallström, this morning, unfortunately, there were only bread with ham left when I entered, so it became a youhurt cocktail instead with fresh fruit which is not so bad. However, it is important to remember the small details when the EU Commission invited to discuss the climate negotiations. The good examples must never be underestimated.

Otherwise, it was same old politicians tugget where all the answers to the questions could equally come from an pre-programmed official, so there were nothing new under the sun. Even when some (2 of 80) "Climate gate" activists argued that COP15 skouldn't be opened at all, Margot respond as a true official. Once again it is so that there are those who see the ability to disrupt order is the one that receiving the most attention, relative to its size.

Anyway, it was the first time I have a separate chat with Margot (147 seconds) on how she looks at the possibility that we Swedes must reduce our CO2 emissions by 85% in one decade (from 13 tons to 2 tons), when it still so that 9 out of 10 cars only have one person in the car (own observation at the carque inside the bus to Malmo from Lomma). Still, it is so that it is far too little action and too much talk. To conclude with the answer given by Mrs Wallström, 'there must be strong leadership to succeed. " We hope that this leadership can deliver at the end of the 10 days remaining of COP15.

Friends - write in English

COP15 rolls forward, and according to reports this morning the queues run long outside the Bella Center! The first coworkers from ÅF are being registered today and the main reason for the kilometer-long queues are the massive security checkpoint, along with the Conference "popularity".

So many have sought and received (!) accreditation by the organizers of the UN COP15, that last week a message was sent out telling everyone who had got access that they should not expect to come in!

To Anders - I look forward to hear from you when you have passed the security check and are on the set!

Best regards
/Alice

Podcar-City COP15

Kommer ÅF Anders in?
